Lighten the load. Strengthen your relationship. feel supported
Mental Load Coaching for Couples
The mental load doesn’t have to keep coming between you.
The mental load isn’t just about who does the dishes or schedules the pediatrician appointments- it’s the invisible, ongoing labor of planning, remembering, anticipating, and emotionally managing everything that keeps life and family running. For many couples, especially in the postpartum years, this imbalance builds quietly until it erupts into resentment, disconnection, or burnout. One partner often feels like they’re carrying everything, while the other feels unsure how to help- or defensive for trying and getting it “wrong.”
These patterns aren’t about laziness or lack of love- they’re often rooted in unspoken expectations, childhood modeling, and outdated gender roles that no longer serve you. Left unaddressed, the mental load can create emotional distance, erode trust, and leave both partners feeling misunderstood and alone. It’s not just a logistical issue; it’s a relational one.
Mental Load Coaching for Couples helps you name what’s been unspoken, understand the deeper dynamics at play, and rebuild your relationship as a true partnership. Whether you’re joining the course on your own or as a couple with the coaching add-on, this process offers practical tools, guided conversations, and mindset shifts to help you move from imbalance to intentional teamwork- so that both of you feel seen, valued, and supported.
What if you could…
Stop feeling like the only one who “sees” what needs to get done and have a true partnership instead.
Share the mental load without constant reminders, nagging, or frustration.
Feel emotionally supported by your partner, not just helped with tasks.
Have a home that runs smoothly without you being the default manager.
It’s time to stop…
Struggling to communicate with blame, shutdown, or defensiveness.
Arguing about “who does more” instead of feeling like a team.
Feeling like you’re the only one who remembers, plans, and anticipates.
Resenting your partner but not knowing how to change the dynamic.
Mental Load Coaching for Couples can help you both feel more seen, supported, + connected

I get it, resistance often comes from a place of not knowing and feeling defensive about our own experience and perspective. This course is NOT about bashing men or saying men are in the wrong. The Mental Load has some serious systemic ties that go back many generations, so honestly, it’s not either of your faults that you got here. It modern society, it’s really hard to raise a family, much less have a career and have a life that feels good for you. My hope is that approaching the Mental Load and our responsibilities from a different lens, can help us develop a better system and feel better about it all.
Plus, did you know the more equal the division of labor there is, the more sex couples have?!
I encourage you to share this page with your partner to check it our for themselves. Also, I offer free 15 minute consultations to discuss in more detail and answer any questions you may have. You can reach out here to schedule.

This is NOT couples therapy. This is coaching around the mental load and how to set up a household to run smoothly where both people of the couple feel supported. The coaching sessions are only focused on the mental load and are not about learning or understanding your partnership dynamics or processing through any past hurts of the relationship. Because this is NOT therapy, insurance may not be used.
